INTERCONTINENTAL SYDNEY DOUBLE BAY

Internationally acclaimed artist Benjamin Shine makes his Sydney debut with 3FOLD, a striking exhibition showcasing three new bodies of work across sculpture, resin and tulle. Presented in partnership with Art2Muse Gallery, this limited exhibition brings Shine’s inventive approach to material and form to InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, where eight of his artworks will be displayed throughout the hotel until December 2025.

Known globally for his ethereal tulle works, Shine’s art explores ideas of energy, transformation, and the beauty found in impermanence. In 3FOLD, he extends this exploration through contrasting materials,  metal, resin-infused felt, and fine tulle, each manipulated to reveal form through movement and light.

With works held by institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Arts and Design New York, and The London Design Museum, Shine’s debut in Sydney brings a rare opportunity to experience his vision up close.

Eight artworks are displayed exclusively at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, offering guests and visitors alike a chance to engage with the artist’s unique perspective — where craftsmanship, emotion and innovation fold seamlessly into one.
